After the establishment of the Qing dynasty, the Manchu clothing system influenced Han clothing to some extent. However, Han women did not fully adopt Manchu-style qizhuang (banner attire) and instead preserved elements of Ming-style Han clothing, such as skirts, pleated skirts, and ruqun (blouse and skirt ensembles).
